COS Rosa Di Lupo

Founded in 1980 in Sicily’s Vittoria zone, COS was created by three friends whose surnames form the estate’s name. Led by Giusto Occhipinti, COS became one of the pioneering producers of Sicily’s wine renaissance, championing organic farming, native yeast fermentations, and low-intervention winemaking long before it became mainstream. Today, the estate remains a benchmark for authentic, terroir-driven Sicilian wines.

Their Rosa Di Lupo is a new rosato bottling from them. Solar is what we would say if we had to sum it up with one word. Fresh, savory, textured, and Mediterranean to its core. Wild strawberry, cranberry, and tart cherry are integrated with lemon oil and blood orange. Beautiful expressions of island herb, sea breeze, smoke, and amaro bitters add further depth and nuance to an exceptional rosato of Nero d'Avola.
