Chateau Fonbadet has been owned by the Peyronie family for four generations. The Chateau Fonbadet Pauillac is a classic left bank blend of dominant Cabernet Sauvignon followed by Merlot, and is coming from areas that border Chateau Latour, Chateau Pichon Comtesse, and Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Powerful, elegant, structured, and aromatic thanks to their soils of well drained sandy Garonne gravel. Redcurrant, red plum, and creme de cassis are evident and exist alongside cedar, tobacco leaf, spearmint, leather, and graphite savory herbal and Earthy notes.
