Jacques Diebolt heads up this iconic estate, one of the finest in the Cotes des Blanc region of Champagne. He literally made his first Champagne in 1959 at the tender age of 17, and he's still running the show here with the help of his children. Based in the Grand Cru Village of Cramant and with holdings in Chouilly, Cuis, and Epernay, this is one of the original and still one of the best small grower/producer Champagne houses out there.
Their Brut Tradition is 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier. With tiny bubbles, a super fine mousse, and delightful aromas and flavors of ripe apple, apricot, marzipan, pastry dough, and chalky mineral, this is one of the great Champagne values in the galaxy.
