Casa Gran del Siurana Priorat 'GR-174'

This is the Priorat outpost of famed Emporda producer Perelada. Sitting on the banks of the river Siurana, the estate is producing one of the great Priorat values on the planet.

A blend of all of the grapes they grow (Garnatxa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Samso, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Franc), this is a great introduction to the splendors of this fabled region in Spanish Catalonia.

Deep garnet in color, this smells of dark berries, macerated cherry, and brown spices on the nose. Smooth and spicy on the palate, it tastes of red and dark berries, loads of spice, mocha, and olive tapenade. Smooth, long, and satisfying, this is one of the great Priorat values on the planet!
