Caprili was one of the earliest estate in Montalcino. Located in the southwestern part of the region, this warmer zone provides for optimal ripening of Sangiovese, yielding big and powerful red wines. The wines are noted for being staunchly traditional and great values for world class Tuscan wines.
Their Rosso di Montalcino is always strong, and that is again the case with their newly released '22. Ripe, rich, and warm notes of dark cherry, plum, blackberry, and mint lead into a firm palate that is packed with depth and bold flavors.
