This classic Friulian Pinot Grigio hails from the Grave sub appellation which is known for its gravelly soils that help ripen the grapes and impart minerality to the wines. The Bidoli has more body, concentration and complexity than most Italian Pinot Grigios in this price category. Bright, refreshing notes of peach, pear, melon and citrus are offset by a dry, stony finish. Highly versatile with foods like fish, chicken, salads, hors d'oeuvres and younger cheeses.
