Colette Beaujolais Villages 2023

2024 Domaine de Colette Beaujolais-Villages

Domaine de Colette's Beaujolais-Villages is so charming, honest, and gulpable, and it's also a splendid value to enjoy with Thanksgiving dinner!

On sale for $15.99/bottle and 20% off the regular price of $19.99 through Thanksgiving Eve 2025!

Composed of old vine fruit from the Cru Villages of Morgon and Regnié, this is fresh and lively Gamay with classic flavors of cherry, earthy spice, damp earth, and mineral. With silky tannins and juicy acidity, it tastes great by itself, but it loves poultry and root veggies too.

Here's a prime example of why the wines of Beaujolais are more popular than ever. Husband and wife Jacky and Evelyne Gauthier farm their old vines without any chemical sprays or fertilizers, and these naturally low-yielding vines give us a delicious Gamay that is ripe, sappy, juicy, and easy.

Let me clarify one thing -- this is not Beaujolais Nouveau. We have some of those arriving November 20, but this is Beaujolais-Villages, a much more "serious" wine that packs a bit more punch as well as deeper concentration.

That concentration comes from the combination of old vines and a longer maceration, but this is still fresh, juicy, and light on its feet with mellow tannins and lively acids. Incredibly easy to drink, it flows with generous aromas and flavors of Bing cherry, fresh strawberry, damp earth, woodsy spice, and more. Despite its somewhat "serious" style, it's still so easy to drink, and that's my idea of the perfect wine.

Drink this tasty, organic, and family-made wine with turkey, salmon, pork tenderloin, or a crusty baguette smeared with paté. No food needed though, this is just a joy to drink.  Chill this down a bit, and sip away to your heart's content!

$15.99/bottle is the best price -- no further discounts -- 7 cases available.
