Luneau-Papin Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine 'La Grange'
Regular price $26.99The Luneau and Papin families can trace their winemaking history in the Nantes region of the Loire Valley to the 17th century. The current iteration began in the 1990s, when Pierre Luneau and Monique Papin took over the family estates located respectively in Le Landreau and La Chapelle-Heulin. They retired in 2018, but Domain Luneau-Papin is still absolutely dedicated to their vision and the families legacies.
Their 'La Grange' bottling is a great taste into what the Domain has to offer. Mineral driven, focused, and textured. Gorgeous orchard fruits of white peach and green apple are accompanied by bruised lemon citrusy note. Oyster brine, wet rock, and salt are evident in the minerality of this wine, and a compelling lime zest only further adds to its character.
