Antonio Madeira's Tinto comes from local growers that work without herbicides that practice organics. This is a blend of over20 varities, but is mostly Alfrocheiro, Baga, and Jaen (Mencia). Medium-bodied, balanced, meaty, and fresh. Dark fruits of backberry , dark cherry, and wild blueberry make up the fruits here and further notes of smoked meat, violet, and a peppery spice add complexity to this low intervention Dao red.
