Gail Wines' inaugural release of Cabernet Sauvignon under their Doris label wine is all from a single vineyard planted in the Warm Springs region of Sonoma Valley. These vines sit at the base of Sonoma Mountain. The site is notorious for ripening late into the growing season, allowing the fruit to develop at the perfect pace.
Aromas of cassis, plum, spice, and a touch of oak give way on the palate to this full-bodied and fairly structured Cabernet. This wine is very classic in style and could age 5 plus years no problem.
