Crafted by Dao native Elisa Freire Lobo, the first female winemaker of the region and one of the best, this refreshing white is a little bit different, but it's delicious nonetheless. A blend of 50% Encruzado, 35% Bical, and 15% Cerceal, this has got a lot going on. Encruzado is one of Portugal's most important native varieties, and it offers up an assortment of exotic notes.

Fermented in tank, this offers up notes of green apple, pear, citrus zest, green herb, and slate-y minerality. Not too acidic but not at all fat and clumsy, this is for the white wine adventurer. Highly recommended!
