French Wine Dinner at Vivian in Asheville

Vintage '59 Imports Wine Dinner at Ambrozia

Vintage ’59 Imports Wine Dinner at Ambrozia with Debra Lewis
Thursday, July 12th at 6:30pm

We are excited to welcome Deb Lewis, and Vintage ’59, to Ambrozia for a paired dinner. With a focus on small, French growers and producers, both Chef Sam and myself are big Vintage ’59 fans. And when you add National Sales Manager and good friend Debra Lewis to the equation, it’s a no-lose situation. She’s a force of nature, and Sam and I have immense respect for her knowledge and palate.

The wines we’ve selected for this event are especially exciting. There’s festive bubbles to get the party started, and after that, it’s bone-dry and minerally Muscadet and richer, spicier White Burgundy. Equally engaging, the deeper colored, bolder rosé from Coupe Roses is a special treat. Don’t worry, we didn’t forget the reds, and we certainly picked some special ones. The 93-point-rated Cote de Brouilly from Pavillon de Chavannes is ridiculously delicious and the Chateauneuf du Pape from Domaine de Saje will take your breath away.

And paired with Chef Sam Etheridge’s creative and soulful cuisine, this promises to be a feast for the senses. All of the wines will be available for purchase, in limited quantities and at special prices, through Table Wine. Rest assured, this will be an occasion that you won’t want to miss!
