1. 2015 Michel Gassier Cercius Blanc (Rhone Valley, France) – The new vintage of an all time favorite is back and it’s delicious. A blend of mainly Grenache Blanc with a just a dab of Sauvignon Blanc fermented in stainless steel and concrete, this is a white wine for all palates. With medium body, great texture, and rich notes of golden apple, white peach, and gentle spice, this is a great alternative to Chardonnay or Pinot Gris, and you can’t beat the price.

2. 2014 Cederberg Chenin Blanc (Cederberg, South Africa) – South Africa does Chenin Blanc really well, and this isolated family farm in the Cederberg Mountain Range in South Africa’s Western Cape is proof of that. Fermented dry in stainless steel, it offers up lovely notes of pear, grapefruit and melon. The texture on this is also phenomenal — almost creamy in the mouth, but with refreshing acidity, it’s another great wine for a variety of palates.

3. 2014 Dr. L Riesling (Mosel, Germany) – Ernst Loosen is one of Germany’s qualitative leaders, and his entry level Riesling is a great introduction to classic, Mosel-styled Riesling. Off-dry and possessing wonderful, zesty acidity, it flows with juicy notes of peach, green apple and citrus. Try this with spicy Thai or Indian cuisine and call it a night!
