All of the featured tasting wines are on sale the day of the tasting: take 10% off if you mix any 3, 15% off if you mix any 6, or 20% off if you mix any 12.
The Wines
1. 2014 Domaine Duffour Cotes de Gascogne (Gascogne, France) – It’s our new Case of the Month, and it’s the quintessential spring/summer sipper! Based on a stainless steel fermented blend of old vine Colombard (70%), Ugni Blanc (15%), and Gros Manseng (15%), it flows with bright and tangy citrus, tropical fruits, and green herb notes. Reminiscent of Sauvignon Blanc, but with a little more body, it is one of the great white wine values in the world.
2. 2015 Domaine Lafage Miraflors Rose (Cotes du Roussillon, France) – From old (15-85 years old to be exact), organically farmed Grenache Gris and Mourvedre vineyards in France’s southern Roussillon region, this is dreamy dry rose. Fermented in tank, the resulting wine smells like spring sunshine with lovely notes of strawberry, watermelon, tropical fruits and white flowers. Completely dry, 100% delicious, and hard to put down, you don’t want to miss this one! We also have a few magnums to offer to those who come early!
3. 2013 Michel Gassier Nostre Pais Rouge (Costieres de Nimes, France) – Michel Gassier is one of our favorite Southern Rhone growers and producers. He is the man behind the Cercius Cotes du Rhone, one of our top 5 sellers of all time, and this is basically the next step up from Cercius. A blend of organically cultivated Grenache, Carignan, Mourvedre, Cinsault and Syrah, it honestly drinks like really good Chateauneuf du Pape but sells for a fraction of the price. We’ve got very limited supplies on this one, so come early or miss out!
