1. 2015 Domaine Vetriccie Ile de Beaute Blanc (Corsica, France) – This stainless steel fermented blend of Chardonnay and Vermentino literally smells like a sunny spring day. Bursting with fresh apple, peach, citrus, honeysuckle and gentle spice notes, this will perk up your day in no time. Easy drinking, uncomplicated, clean and fresh, this is just silly good!

2. 2013 Domaine Sigalas Assyrtiko/Athiri (Santorini, Greece) – This comes from one of the Greece’s greatest white wine producers. We may sound a bit overly enthusiastic about this wine, but it must be tasted to be believed. Gorgeously aromatic, with an array of lemon, pear, quince and mineral notes, it opens up on the palate to reveal live-wire acidity and intense citrus, saline and mineral notes.

3. 2014 Stemmari Nero d’Avola (Sicily, Italy) – Nero d’Avola is Sicily’s most important indigenous varietal and the folks at Stemmari craft one of the best values of the grape we’ve ever encountered. Relatively deep in color, full in body, and silky in texture, this caresses the palate with flavors of ripe black cherry, plum, blueberry and just a hint of vanilla and oak spice. It’s the perfect wine for sipping with or without food.
