1. 2015 Rombauer Chardonnay (Carneros, California) – This is the quintessential, rich, buttery, creamy, barrel fermented California Chardonnay, and we’re running it on special through the end of business on Saturday at one of the best prices in the country. Deeply flavored with notes of spiced apple, poached pear, caramel and vanilla, this full bodied, full flavored Chardonnay is one of a kind.
2. 2015 Belle Glos Pinot Noir “Las Alturas” (Santa Lucia Highlands, California) – Like the Rombauer, this wine has a cult following. One of the biggest, flashiest, and most flamboyant Pinots produced in California, it is deeply colored and showcases aromas and flavors of ripe plum, blueberry, cassis, and smoky, toasty oak.
3. 2014 Rock Wall Wine Company Zinfandel “Rockpile Vineyard” (Sonoma County, California) – The famed Rockpile vineyard is considered one of California’s top spots for powerful, ageworthy Zinfandel. Sitting high above the Dry Creek Valley, the vines receive more sunshine and less fog than the vineyards below, and you can taste it in the wine. This one is a powerhouse boasting aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry, plum, deep spice and anise notes. Drink now through 2025.
