Saturday, April 21st from 2-5pm – Join us for a New Arrivals Wine Tasting this Saturday at Table Wine in South Asheville. It’s the best free wine tasting in Asheville, and you’re invited!
Sunshine, warm weather, beach trips, and cookouts can only mean one thing. Spring is here and that makes me happy! That means there are tons of new wines in stock. Crisp whites, refreshing dry roses, and grill-ready reds are abundant, and I can’t wait to share them with you. Whether you’re having an Asheville wedding, a spring party, or just need great house wines, Table Wine is the place to be this Saturday. Stop by, taste, learn, and save! Even better, we’ve got plenty of free parking.
All of the featured tasting wines are being offered at 20% off by the bottle on tasting day! To take advantage of the savings, all sales must be tendered by the end of business on Saturday, April 21st.
1. 2016 Poderi dal Nespoli Pagadebit (Emilia-Romagna, Italy) – The Pagadebit is our Case of the Month, and it’s a lovely blend of 85% Bombino Bianco and 15% Sauvignon Blanc. A candidate for white wine value of the year, it tastes kind of like a good Pinot Grigio crossed with a zesty Sauvignon Blanc. You can’t beat the price!
2. 2017 Barnard Griffin Sangiovese Rosé (Mendocino County, California) – Yet again, Barnard Griffin’s rosé took home top honors at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Named top dry rosé produced in the US (that’s like the fifth time), it’s dry, it’s delicious, and it’s deserving of its praise.
3. 2015 Valravn Zinfandel Old Vines (Sonoma County, California) – Talk about a classically delicious, Dry Creek Zinfandel! Holy smokes, this stuff is good, and it’s the quintessential red to enjoy with anything off the grill. Rich with ripe raspberry and boysenberry fruit, peppery spice, and just enough acidity to keep it lively, it’s going to please many palates.
