It's so great to be partnering on wine dinners again, and we are so excited to welcome proprietor and winemaker Matt Meyer to town. Matt is the son of Silver Oak founder Justin Meyer, and let's just say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Matt and his wife Karen craft their delicious wines from vineyards in Mendocino County and Oakville. Being that these two zones have somewhat contrasting climates, this gives the Meyers ample opportunity to make a wide range of wines.
Chef James Lumley of Red Stag Grill will prepare a 5-course tasting menu to pair with each of the wines. Included amongst the wines that night will be the Bonny's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, which was the original source for Silver Oak's Napa Cab, and the Le Bon Bon Cab, a very limited production wine that will blow minds and make heads spin.
You will leave full, happy, and more informed about the wines, the dishes, and how they work together. Gwen Collins of 3 Keys Distributing and winery founder and owner Matt Meyer will be on hand to provide commentary on the wines and to answer questions. Table Wine is the retail partner for the event and all wines will be offered at discounted prices to attendees.
