Thursday, July 14 from 7-9pm – Lopez Heredia and Tapas Tasting – If you are a wine and food lover, Table Wine will be the place to be on Thursday, July 14. We’re working in coordination with Chef Mo’s to put together a very special evening of Spanish wines from famed Rioja producer R. Lopez Heredia and traditional Spanish tapas prepared by the very talented Chef Mo.
The wines of Lopez Heredia are considered some of the finest in Spain, and they are served at some of the top restaurants in the world. The family owns some very special plots of old vines and they still do everything the “old” way; that means organic farming, hand harvesting and sorting, native yeast fermentations and long maturation in oak and bottle. The resulting wines are just absolutely dazzling, mature, complex wines with layers of intricate flavors. Chef Mo, myself and some great friends of Table Wine will be helping out to prepare some wonderful small plates to pair with the wines. As you can see below, this is a ridiculous deal, especially when you consider that all of the Lopez Heredia wines sell for $25 and up. We have room to take 36 lucky folks and RSVP and pre-payment are required please.
