Great California Values - Free Saturday Wine Tasting

This Saturday, April 19th from 2 to 5 p.m. — Free to the Public — Stop by the store this Saturday any time between 2 and 5 p.m. to sample through a terrific lineup of California wine values. The insanely expensive cost of land in California can make it incredibly hard for us to find good quality wines at fair prices, but the brilliant 2012 vintage has yielded some incredible values.
We’ll get started with the 2012 Grayson Chardonnay, a friendly wine if ever there was one. Dry, yet soft and round, this easygoing white offers up fresh notes of pineapple, banana and spiced apple. After that, we’ll move on to the first red, the 2012 Angeline Pinot Noir. A blend of grapes from Santa Barbara, Sonoma and Mendocino Counties, it is bursting with ripe cherry and strawberry fruit, along with subtle notions of vanilla and oak spice. To finish up, we’ll pour you the 2012 Cartlidge and Browne Cabernet Sauvignon,a terrific Cab that includes grapes from Lake County and Alexander Valley. With classic notes of ripe cherry, blackberry, herb and spice, this one is just begging to be served with a big hunk of meat. Don’t forget, when you mix any six tasting wines, you get a 15% discount. Stop by, taste some wines, and stock up on some great values for drinking any night of the week.
