Asheville’s Best Free Wine Tasting – Just stop by – we’ve got plenty of free parking!

Did you know that Table Wine stocks over 100 wines that sell for less than $15? And they’re really good too! Conveniently located around the perimeter of the store on shelving along the walls, many of our customers have gotten into the habit of “shopping the walls.” And we put just as much thought and care into these selections as we do into our more premium selections. Join us this Friday to taste what I’m talking about. Taste, learn, save every Friday at Table Wine.

All of the featured tasting wines are 20% off by the bottle on tasting day only.

1. 2017 Vecchia Torre Vermentino (Salento, Italy) – Vecchia Torre is one of Southern Italy’s top, quality-oriented co-ops. This wine is the proof! From the Salento Peninsula, in the heel of Italy’s boot, this is lovely white wine. Fresh and crisp, yet rich and textured, it exhibits aromas and flavors of white peach, apple, white flowers, and green strawberry. Be careful — this one disappears quickly on warm and sunny days.

2. 2017 Domaine de Fenouillet Vaucluse Rouge (Southern Rhone Valley, France) – Brothers Patrick and Vincent Soard own and operate this impeccable domaine situated in the village of Beaumes de Venise, in the shadows of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail. All of their vineyards are certified organic. This is their fun and funky little house wine, a blend of Marsellan and Merlot, that delivers soulful and honest Southern French flavors at an incredible price.

3. 2015 La Meriggia Montepulciano d’Abruzzo (Abruzzo, Italy) – Wine doesn’t get much more honest than this! This is just hearty, robust, and rustic Montepulciano fermented entirely in stainless steel. Boasting ripe notes of blackberry, plum, spice, and herb, it’s perfect for pizza, pasta with red sauce, and other classic Amer-Italian fare.
