All you have to do is stop by, taste, learn, and save at Table Wine every Friday.

All of the featured tasting wines are 20% off by the bottle on tasting day only.

1. NV Trevini Sangiovese “Rubicone” (Emilia-Romagna, Italy) – For just over $7/bottle, you won’t find a better pizza/pasta/crushable red than this one! Fermented entirely in stainless steel, it’s medium-bodied, it’s fresh, and it’s loaded with ripe and juicy notes of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. Don’t buy just 1 bottle of this one……..trust me.

2. 2016 Caprili Rosso Toscan “Ilex” (Tuscany, Italy) – Caprili is a top-notch Brunello producer, and this is the estate’s entry-level wine. Composed entirely of Sangiovese Grosso from younger Brunell0 vines, it is fermented and aged in stainless steel. Showing some serious concentration and depth, especially for a $10ish bottle, it’s loaded with dark fruits and light spice notes.

3. 2015 Pietralta Chianti (Tuscany, Italy) –Do not mistake this for a simple, pizza/pasta Chianti! This is serious juice, and the wine tastes better than most Chianti Classicos, but costs a fraction of the price. From certified organic vineyards planted back in 1968 (that’s old!), the wine is comprised of 85% Sangiovese and 15% Canaiolo and Colorino. Just 5,000 BOTTLES are produced each year, and the 2015 is singing a beautiful song. “Aromas of plum, dark cherry, spice, and complex earth notes lead into a zesty, bold palate of dark fruit and spice. Fine-grained tannins, classic acidity, terrific wine.”Josh Spurling – 92 points
