On all tasting wines, save 10% off by the bottle, 15% off when you mix six of them, or 20% off when you mix a case or more of them!

1. 2014 Vallevo Pecorino (Abruzzo, Italy) – No it’s not made with cheese, but the sheep and sheep herders of the region love to eat these grapes right off of the vine. It’s Pecorino, a grape that almost went extinct, but made a huge comeback in the 1990’s. From the highly acclaimed Cantina Frentana cooperative and made with certified organic grapes, this is a great summer quaff. Medium bodied, fresh, zesty and herbaceous, it is perfect for summer parties, beach and poolside drinking, or grilled fish and vegetables.

2. 2014 Benito Ferrara Greco di Tufo (Campania, Italy) – Greco di Tufo is one of the great white wines of Southern Italy, and Benito Ferrara is recognized as the best producer of this indigenous varietal. The Ferrara vineyards stand next to abandoned sulfur mines and sufur rocks can be found amongst the vines: this gives their wines wonderful mineral notes. In addition, there is a lovely, weighty, almost oily texture to the wine along with spicy fruit notes of pear, peach, and apricot. This is a truly special white wine. 90 points Vinous Media

3. 2014 Antonio Sanguineti Cannonau di Sardegna (Sardinia, Italy) – It’s our new Case of the Month, and it’s delicious again this year………maybe even better than last year! Cannonau is the Sardinian name for Grenache, and this one comes from older vineyards on the eastern part of the island. Fermented in stainless steel, it reminds us of a really good Cotes du Rhone with Italian flair and gusto. Medium to full bodied, it is packed with ripe but fresh notes of cherry, pomegranate and plum fruit backed by hints of anise, peppery spice, and refreshing acidity.
