Mark your calendars and spread the word, as this is our last BIG tasting of the year.

All of the featured tasting wines are being offered at 20% off by the bottle on tasting day! This is the tentative lineup — it could change based on our sales and availability of wines.

1. NV Pol Roger Champagne Brut Reserve (Champagne, France)
Christmas comes but once per year. Celebrate in style with one of the most consistently delicious Champagnes out there. Rich, elegant, classy and sophisticated.

2. 2017 La Scolca Gavi “White Label” (Piemonte, Italy)
La Scolca makes Gavi like no other producer, and this would be a perfect wine to serve with the Feast of the Seven Fishes. Bright and lemony, yet rich and aromatic, this is an Italian classic.

3. 2017 Domaine Talmard Macon-Chardonnay (Burgundy, France)
This one is actually from the village of Chardonnay, and it’s a prime example of the no-oak, clean and fresh style that the Maconnais is known for.

4. 2016 Field Recordings Chenin Blanc (Santa Barbara County, California)
Simply put, this is the best domestic Chenin I’ve ever encountered. And if you’re having ham for Christmas dinner, pick some of this up. There’s tremendous balance between ripe fruit and zesty acidity. YUM!

5. 2017 Wonderwall Pinot Noir (Central Coast, California)
Here’s the top California Pinot Noir value I tasted this year. “Vineyard hunter” and winemaker Andrew Jones worked magic with Pinot Noir from sites in Edna Valley and Santa Barbara. This is light and perfumed, with regal elegance and intense and savory flavors.

6. 2017 Neverland Cabernet Sauvignon (Santa Barbara County, California)
From high elevation sites in Santa Barbara County, this is a new personal favorite of mine. More about freshness and aromatics than brute force, this one breathes of crisp currant, cranberry, violet, and green herbs. Possessing super fine-grained tannin and zesty acidity, it’s a different style of Cab that many will adore.

7. 2015 Davis Family Zinfandel Old Vines (Russian River Valley, California)
Guy Davis makes tiny amounts of Zinfandel from some of the oldest vines in his vineyard. Showcasing lots of brambly, spicy, berry fruit and plenty of richness, this is outstanding.

8. 2015 Chateau Boutisse Saint-Emilion Grand Cru (Bordeaux, France)
94 point rated Saint-Emilion at the best price in the country, and you won’t find it anywhere in Asheville besides Table Wine. We bought it all! When you taste, you’ll know why.
