The Wines
1. 2014 Borsao Rosé (Campo de Borja, Spain): Borsao’s dry, Garnacha-based pink wine is always a tremendous value, and the new release is no exception. Light, juicy, and flowing with fresh cherry, framboise, and floral nuances, it’s a total no-brainer.
2. 2014 Laurent Gauthier Beaujolais Villages Rosé (Beaujolais, France): Laurent Gauthier grew up in the Cru Village of Morgon, and he continues his family’s legacy of quality wine production to this day. His dry rosé is 100% organically farmed Gamay, and it is absolutely lovely. Exhibiting aromas and flavors of floral accented tart cherry and strawberry, it finishes zippy and zesty with a hint of spring flowers and green herbs.
3. 2014 Bodegas Muga Rioja Rosado (Rioja, Spain): We got 5 precious cases of Muga’s rosé this year, and here’s your chance to try it for free. A blend of Garnacha, Viura, and Mazuelo, it displays lovely notes of spicy strawberry, redcurrant, white cherry, and subtle herbaceousness. It’s the perfect wine to compliment fresh vegetables, salads, and seafood.
