I am both excited and pleased to announced our next wine and dine extravaganza at the Red Stag Grill. Crescere Wines is a family-run, boutique winery crafting incredible wines from their own estate vineyards along with some of the top sites in Sonoma County. This 500 acre estate was purchased by Joe and Elena Reynoso in 1994, and today, 150 acres are dedicated to the vine. They sell most their grapes to some of the top Sonoma wineries, keeping just a tiny percentage of the finest grapes for their own wines.
In 2020, they enlisted the services of Philippe Melka, one of the world's greatest winemakers. Philippe is originally from Bordeaux, and he has made wines for the likes of Haut Brion, Dominus, and Petrus, just to name a few. He is assisted by Maayan Koschitzky, one of the young, rising star winemakers of California. Maayan previously enjoyed stints at Screaming Eagle and Dalla Valle, and these days, he is Philippe's right hand man.
Great vineyards, meticulous farming, and two of the best winemakers in the world. Sounds good huh? Trust me, it will be made even better by Chef James Lumley, who will prepare a 5-course tasting menu to go with the wines. These are top-shelf wines, and they've got the critical praise to back them up. Crescere National Sales Manager Davis Anderson, Gwen Collins of 3 Keys Distributing, and myself will be on hand to talk about the wines and answer questions. Table Wine is the retail partner for the event and all wines will be offered at discounted prices to attendees.
