We’ll have three different ones open for you to try before you buy, and all of the tasting wines will be on sale at 10% off by the bottles, 15% off if you mix six of them, and 20% off if you mix a case of more of them. The Wines
Prices range from $10 to $24 per bottle
1. 2012 Dante Cabernet Sauvignon – From various parts of California, Michael Pozzan’s Dante Cabernet Sauvignon is perfect for everyday drinking, with or without food. Ripe, round, and inviting, it offers up a nice mix of lush berry fruit and toasty oak. At just over $10/bottle, don’t over think this one.
2. 2011 Ringbolt Cabernet Sauvignon – Australia Margaret River region is one of the country’s top spots for Cabernet Sauvignon, and the Cab-driven wines from here tend to take on a slight Bordeaux-like nuance. The one from Ringbolt opens “to aromas of freshly crushed blueberries and blackcurrants with nuances of cedar, cloves, pencil lead and dried oregano. Medium to full-bodied, it offers a good amount of herbal-laced, black fruit flavors, medium-levels of chewy tannins and long finish. Drink it now to 2018.” The Wine Advocate – 88 points
3. 2010 James Creek Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon – Grape grower Scott Brown’s vineyards are located in Popes Valley, in the eastern, more inland part of Napa. Scott makes a pretty good living selling his grapes to a number of big name producers, but he also makes tiny quantities of his own wines. For the 2010 vintage, he made just 348 cases of this full bodied, full flavored, strapping Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s a great deal too!
