I am excited to announce our first wine dinner of 2023! Many thanks to the wonderful team at the Red Stag Grill for hosting and for Matt Gason of August Briggs Winery for making the trek from the Calistoga to join us.
August Briggs Winery is an owner-managed craft producer of small lot and sustainably produced wines showcasing some of Napa and Sonoma’s premier vineyards. They subscribe to a restrained winemaking philosophy that highlights wines of provenance, not pretense. Their eclectic portfolio includes single vineyard and appellation bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and more.
World-class wines from Napa and Sonoma, expertly prepared food by Chef Lumley and his team, and a small and intimate setting where you'll get to know the winery owner. Sounds good right?
