From festive bubbles and rich whites to classy reds, we’ll have all bases covered for this outstanding tasting of Thanksgiving wines.
The tasting is free to the public and all of the wines will be discounted 20% off by the bottle! Whether you need special wines for that delicious meal or simple, value priced wines to keep the family happy and peaceful, we’ve got you covered. It’s the perfect time to taste, learn and save on wines that are guaranteed to make this Thanksgiving the best ever.
1. NV Bele Casel Prosecco Extra Dry (Veneto, Italy)
Fresh, fruity, and delicious small grower Prosecco.
2. 2018 Montenidoli Vernaccia di San Gimignano “Tradizionale” (Tuscany, Italy)
You’ve not had Vernaccia until you’ve had Vernaccia from Sergio and Elisabetta Fagiuoli. Trust me!
3. 2017 Domaine Thevenet St. Veran Vieilles Vignes ‘Clos de l’Ermitage’ (Burgundy, France)
Beautiful, balance, rich, yet laser-focused Chardonnay from very old vines. Beautiful stuff!
4. 2014 Luberri Rioja Crianza ‘Biga’ (Rioja, Spain)
100% Tempranillo from a single, old vine vineyard. Balanced, spicy, complex and complete.
5. 2016 Capitain-Gagnerot Ladoix Rouge (Burgundy, France)
I told you we weren’t messing around for this tasting! And this is absolutely brilliant Red Burgundy from a top site in the Cotes de Beaune.
6. 2016 Girolamo Russo Etna Rosso ‘A Rina’ (Sicily, Italy)
It’s like Red Burgundy meets Barolo! Yes, the Nerello Mascalese-based wines of Russo are medium bodied, intricately flavored, and beautifully balanced.
7. 2016 Comte de Lauze Chateauneuf du Pape (Rhone Valley, France)
Feeling like drinking something bigger and bolder? Try this 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah blend from one of my favorite new producers. Deeply flavored, yet supple and pliant on the palate, it’s one of the top Chateauneuf values on the planet!
