Zebedeo Blanco

Zebedeo Blanco

It's back, and it's just as good as it was before! The Zebedeo Blanco is one of the top Albarino values coming out of Spain, and it's one of the best white wine values we stock. It is composed of grapes from top organic growers throughout Galicia and specifically Rias Baixas, and it's "put together" by an importer friend of mine.

By bottling the wine with his own label, without a vintage, and without a geographic designation, he avoids all sorts of regional rules, regulations, and red tape, and that saves us all a lot of money.

Buy a Solid Six-Pack: $9.99/bottle -- over 20% off the regular price

Anything Less: $12.99/bottle -- still an exceptional deal

I don't know if you have checked Albarino prices lately, but the grape has caught on in the US, and it's exceedingly difficult to find a good one for less than $15 to $20. We found the fix to that problem, and it's Zebedeo!

NV Zebedeo Blanco -- Why should you buy it?

  • Albarino is one of Spain's most noble native white grapes. Grown primarily in Rias Baixas, along Spain's northwestern coast, the grape produces fresh, high-toned, and zesty white wines with captivating aromas and flavors
  • The importer's goal is the same as our's -- we want more people to enjoy the charms of Albarino. We also want them to be able to do so without having to spend $20+, and Zebedeo does just that!
  • This un-oaked, crisp, and aromatic white flows with beautiful notes of nectarine, tangerine, citrus, lemon zest, and a kiss of sea breeze minerality.
  • It tastes great! Of all of the $10-$15 whites we stock, this is the one I drink the most of....for what that's worth : )

This is a seafood-loving wine all the way -- think shrimp sautéed with garlic and chili flakes, mussels in a spicy broth, or sardines on saltines. It's also great without food, and I highly advise you to stock up ahead of warmer spring weather.
