Dominio do Bibei's Lalume Blanco is a personal favorite of mine, and the 2023 is drinking beautifully. I know because I had a bottle just the other night, and if you poured this for me blind, I'd call it high-quality White Burgundy all day long.

I'm not surprised that Luis Gutierrez of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate rated it 94 points, his highest score ever for this limited-production, highly expressive white wine from Ribeiro, in Spain's Galicia region. Very little is made, and I'm always happy to take my full allocation... and share it with you all. : )
We just received 60 bottles of this gem, and it's on sale for $27.99/bottle. That's 20% off the regular price, and this does not qualify for further discounts.
Founded 20 years ago by Javier Dominguez, Dominio do Bibei is an estate built around meticulous farming and minimal intervention. The vineyards are farmed organically, fermentations rely on indigenous yeasts, and the winery is designed to move wine gently by gravity. Everything here is intentional, and you can taste the care that goes into the bottle.
Lalume is a traditional blend of Treixadura, Albarino, and Godello from Ribeiro, one of Spain's most rugged and underappreciated wine regions. The 2023 is wonderfully layered, with notes of grilled pineapple, golden apple, citrus blossom, fennel, leesy spice, and mineral. There's real complexity here, but also the freshness and energy that make this such a compelling wine at the table.
This honestly drinks like a $50+ bottle of White Burgundy, and I love being able to offer a wine of this caliber at such a fair price. While Lalume is a fascinating glass on its own, it really comes alive with food. Think clams in a paprika-spiced tomato sauce or red peppers stuffed with cheese.
We never seem to get enough of this wine, so I'd encourage you to grab a few bottles while you can. : )
