2025 Domaine Vetriccie Rose

Top Rose Value of the Season: 2025 Domaine Vetriccie Ile de Beaute Rosé

The 2025 Domaine Vetriccie Rosé is back, and it’s once again one of the best values in dry rosé I’ve tasted this season.

Vetriccie Rose

We poured it at last Saturday’s tasting, and everyone loved it. I followed that up with a bottle that night. Lynn and I had it on the porch as the sun was setting, and the moment was nearly spiritual. While this isn't super complex, it's certainly not simple, and the "delicious factor" runs high in this incredible Corsican value.

Domaine Vetriccie’s vineyards sit on the eastern coast of Corsica, and you can feel that Mediterranean influence in the glass. Warm days, cool nights, and constant sea breezes all play a role here, giving you a wine that is bright, crisp, and just a little bit salty in the best way. I love wines that clearly tell you where they come from, and it’s pretty rare to find one at this price that does it this well. This one absolutely does.

A blend of two native Corsican grapes, Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu, this comes gushing out of the glass with beautiful aromas of raspberry, watermelon, and a tart strawberry note that keeps things crisp and lively. On the palate, it's crisp red berries and citrus on the front, but that saline minerality kicks in on the finish, pulling you back for sip after sip.

Clean, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink, Vetriccie's rose shines on hot, sunny spring and summer days, and it definitely qualifies as a perfect porch pounder : ) It's also delicious served alongside sashimi, grilled fish, or a spread of fresh summer veggies.

This is the kind of wine you’ll want to have cold and ready at all times over the next few months.

The only thing left to do is get some!
