For fans of dry, crisp, and exuberantly aromatic whites, you're going to love L'Ermite d'Auzan's blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, and Viognier.

From certified biodynamic vineyards in Costieres de Nimes, the southernmost part of the Rhone Valley, this is a white that punches way above its price point. Bursting with sunny notes of white peach, ripe citrus, honeysuckle, and fresh flowers, it delivers all of the ripe fruit, floral character, and texture you could want, yet finishes bright, lively, and way too easy to drink.
On deal for just $13.99/bottle, over 20% off the regular price of $17.99. This is an ideal white to stock up on for your 4th of July festivities. Everyone will love it!
Chateau L'Ermite d'Auzan's wines are direct-imported by my good friend and importer Mike Tiano of the Haw River Wine Merchant. Founded in the 11th century by the monks of the Saint Cecile d'Estagel Abbey, the estate originally produced wine for pilgrims making their way to Santiago de Compostela. Today, the property is managed by 9th-generation grower Jerome Castillon, a passionate advocate of phytotherapy, which uses the medicinal properties of plants and herbs to promote healthier, more resilient vines.
All I can say is whatever Jerome is doing, keep doing it! This is one of the finest white wine values I've tasted this year and a great reminder that the Southern Rhone excels at more than just hearty reds. Picked a bit earlier to preserve freshness and lift, the wine crackles with vibrant fruit and floral character.
If you're a fan of Pinot Gris or a richer style of Sauvignon Blanc, this is a bottle you need to try. A great aperitif, it's also wonderful with grilled fish, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, or a casual summer picnic.
Bottled under screwcap for easy access, this is a ton of wine for the money. Trust me, snag a six-pack and thank me later!
