What an impressive and highly-rated California Cab at an incredible price! The 2024 Broadbent North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon scored 93 points with Wine Enthusiast, and it comes to you for just $14.99!

"The palate is saturated with blackberry preserve, red currant, ginger, and grippy tannins on the finish." - Wine Enthusiast
Importer Bartholomew Broadbent is the man behind this wine, and it's built with grapes from vineyards owned by a family he's known for 35 years. I like the fact that he's closely connected to the vineyards and the farmers who are so integral to this wine's success, and I really don't know how he can offer such a complete Cab up at such a low price.
I think we have a new contender for the best sub-$15 Cabernet made anywhere on the planet! Produced with fruit from Mendocino and Lake Counties, drinking this wine is like hopping into a time machine and going back to the late-1980's, when high quality Cabs could easily be found for less than $15. That's much harder these days...
But it's being done, and it's being done in this wine. It pours a deep, dark color and has a fantastic nose of warm blueberry, boysenberry, dried cherry, mocha, and eucalyptus. Full-bodied and nicely structured on the palate, it drinks like a Napa or Sonoma Cab that usually runs you $25 to $30.
Let's wrap this up. I taste thousands of wines every year, and I think I do a pretty good job of finding diamonds in the rough and incredible values. This is one of those, and I encourage you to buy more than 1!
