Vintage 2018 is another highly successful Narassa. Jeb Dunnuck said "the deep purple 2018 Narassa gives up a gorgeous bouquet of blueberries, kirsch liqueur, smoked game, violets, and lavender. It's rich, medium to full-bodied, beautifully concentrated, and has a great finish." All I would add is that the texture here is super fine....translated, that means smooth.
Who doesn't love a smooth and sumptuous red as summer gives way to fall, and the nights get cooler? Produced from old vines grown in the famed black schist soils of Maury, deep in France's Roussillon region, this is a wine I challenge you not to like. Think of a hypothetical Priorat meets a Paso Robles Red Blend meets a modern styled Chateauneuf. That is what you get here!
When you add it all up, this is an extreme value in world-class, Southern French red wine. It honestly crushes a lot of wines that cost $35 to $40 or more! Enjoy with burgers, barbecue, or nothing more than a glass, and be sure to share it with your friends. They will think you spent a lot more than you did.
