Coming from the village of Signargues, just southeast of the "Chateauneuf county line," Amido's old vines thrive in the rocky soils composed of galets (rounded river stones). That's the same terroir you'll find in Chateauneuf, and while Amido's CDR isn't quite as structured and complex, it's not too far off, and it costs a lot less.

- A classic blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvedre fermented and aged in concrete vats, this wine personifies why the Southern Rhone is home to some of the top red wine values in the world.
- It pours a deep ruby color and smells of peppery black fruits, plum, grilled meat, Provencal herbs, and savory spice. Equally impressive on the palate, this one is full, plush, and seamless, with ripe tannin and mellow acidity.
