I've been a wine merchant for nearly 15 years, and involved in the trade for nearly 30. I can say with confidence that this is one of the best value-priced California Cabs I've ever tasted. It's the 2023 Block Nine 'Caiden's Vineyards' Cabernet Sauvignon, and it comes with some serious credentials.
92 points from Wine Enthusiast, made by the guy who used to make wines at Mt. Veeder, Quintessa, and Ravenswood, and less than $17/bottle. That's what I've got to offer you today, and I think that once you get this into your glass, you'll share in my excitement.

Why should you buy it?
- Larry Levin is the "wine mind" behind the Block Nine Wines, and this UC-Davis grad has made wines for some of Napa and Sonoma's top producers. At Block Nine, he's buying fruit from his "old friends" in Napa and Sonoma.
- He's using that high-quality fruit to craft delicious and affordable North Coast Cab. This stuff is silky smooth and pleasure-bent, "with aromas of cherry, raspberry, dried herbs, vanilla cream, and notes of mulled spices," said Wine Enthusiast.
- Good luck finding a 92-point rated California Cab at this price point. Trust me, I do that research so you don't have to, and this is a rare find for sure.
- Just over 3,000 cases were produced for the vintage. That's not that much wine you all.....the Wagner Family makes nearly 300,000 cases of Bonanza Cab....
