Bele Casel Asolo Prosecco Extra Dry Superiore

95-Point-Rated Prosecco, Less than $20!

Bele Casel Prosecco Extra Dry

This is one of the best Proseccos that you'll ever pour into your glass. Bele Casel is run by brother and sister Luca and Paola Ferrara, and it is one of the top Prosecco producers in all of Italy. The estate is certified organic, the Glera vines are old and located on hillsides, and the duo put a ton of TLC into this wine.

Rated 95 points by Decanter and 91 points by Vinous Media, it's a legit contender for the best Prosecco in the world. Why doesn't it cost more? I have no idea, but I do know that it's about 10x better than La Marca, and it costs less.

Bele Casel Asolo Prosecco Superiore Extra-Dry: Why should you buy it?

  • This is hand-crafted, small grower, family-made Prosecco, and that is completely the opposite of what you'll find in the grocery and big box stores. The Proseccos you'll find there are much larger production wines with no sense of provenance.
  • It delivers wonderful aromas of tropical melon, white flowers, pear,  and nectarine. As good as it smells, it's the wine's lovely and creamy texture and juicy finish that will have you coming back for sip after sip.
  • The Bele Casel estate is located in the Asolo hills, north of Venice. This zone, with its many old hillside vineyards, has long been regarded as one of the best in the region.

I really don't know what else to say here other than that this is a complete no-brainer. I recommend drinking this without the addition of orange or peach juice, but once you buy it, you can do whatever you want with it : )
