I was smitten from the first smell of this wine. Crushed berries, rose petals, mysterious spice, and more. I went in for a sip, and the palate was even better. Lingua Franca has produced one of the best Oregon Pinot Noir values I've ever tasted.
If you want to read about this highly-respected winery, click HERE. It's the holidays, and I need to write up 5 more wines tonight, and it's getting late. All I'd say is that if you've trusted my palate in the past, trust it now, I won't let you down.

2022 Lingua Franca AVNI Pinot Noir: Why should you buy it?
- For those who like scores, this one got 94 from Wine Spectator, who described it quite well. "Dynamic and precise, with a core of steely acidity that frames expressive flavors of raspberry and guava. Laced with crushed stone, forest floor and dusky spice notes that gather tension and richness toward fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2033."
- I love ethereal red wines, but I also love ripeness and texture. This one checks all 3 of those boxes. Great fruit, great winemaking team, great wine!
- A Pinot like this would shine served alongside everything from roasted salmon and pork tenderloin to turkey and filet mignon. I know it sounds a bit TOO versatile, but trust me....
