Broadbent The Curator White Blend 2025

89 Point South African White Blend at a Great Price: 2025 The Curator White Blend

My pick for one of the world's top white wine values, the Curator White Blend has no business being this good. I'm not kidding, if I tasted this blind, I'd guess it cost north of $20, but it doesn't cost anywhere near that.

The Curator White Blend

The 2025 Curator White comes in as a blend of 80% Chenin Blanc, 10% Chardonnay, and 10% Viognier sourced from old, dry-farmed bush vines scattered throughout Swartland, one of South Africa's most exciting wine regions. Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and aged on its lees for five months, it combines freshness with surprising texture and complexity. No wonder it earned 89 points from Wine Spectator and 90 points from James Suckling.

Delicate pear, citrus, and stone fruit aromas lead into a bright, textured palate with lively acidity, subtle minerality, and a clean finish. If you need a second opinion, here's what Wine Spectator had to say: "This white is marked by ripe fruit flavors of candied citrus and persimmon, while subtle aromas of jasmine green tea and crushed stone provide depth. Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Viognier. Drink now through 2029."

Finished with a screw cap, it's ready whenever you are. This is a ton of white wine for the money, and I highly recommend it!
