2015 Camina Tempranillo
Stellar Tempranillo Value!
SOLD OUT
Founded in the winter of 1955 by a group of 25 grape growers, the Camina Cooperative is still going strong 50 years later. Tempranillo does incredibly well on the arid, elevated plains of La Mancha. Sunny, dry days ensure full ripening of Tempranillo,
Spain’s most beloved varietal, and Vintage 2015 was a great one in the region. You can immediately detect that in the appearance, aroma, and flavor of the wine. It pours a lovely cherry red color and exhibits aromas of ripe cherry, raspberry, plum and blackberry leading into a seamless and smooth palate of spicy berry fruit.
It’s not overly complex or complicated, but it is downright delicious. With soft, fine grained tannin and moderate acidity, this one doesn’t require food or aeration. Just pop and pour!
