Catena Malbec Appellation Vista Flores is composed of 100% varietal wines blended from vineyards of Vista Flores district in Tunuyán. The result is a wine with a pure expression of a unique terroir. 30-year-old vines gives red and black fresh fruits flavors, sweet texture and character. Cold nights lend bright, crisp acidity and the intense sunshine give explosive floral aromatics and concentrated structure.
'Now there's also a 2021 Appellation Vista Flores Malbec from the collection of IG wines. It was produced with grapes from loamy soils with rounded stones at 1,100 meters above sea level. It fermented in stainless steel and matured in French oak barrels, 35% of them new, for 12 months. It has moderate 13.7% alcohol and very good acidity and freshness, reflecting a cool vintage, with varietal notes of violets, berries and herbs and a medium-bodied palate with fine tannins. 54,000 bottles produced.' - 92 points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
