1. 2018 Poderi dal Nespoli Pagadebit (Emilia-Romagna, Italy)
This bright and refreshing blend of Bombino Bianco and Sauvignon Blanc comes from the Romagna hills of North-Central Italy. There’s a great story here and David will tell it. Look for zesty notes of pear, apple, lemon and herb.

2. 2017 Alegre Valganon Rioja Blanco (Rioja, Spain)
Here’s a new one from a tiny and traditional Rioja estate. A blend of 90% Viura and 10% Garnacha Blanca, fermentation is started in stainless steel and finished in barrel. The resulting wine is gorgeous and complex with lots of citrus, mineral, dried floral and smoky notes. 92 points – Wine Advocate

3. 2018 Jean-Paul Brun ‘Terres Dorees’ Beaujolais L’Ancien (Beaujolais, France)
Year in and year out, this is one of the great red wine values of Burgundy and Beaujolais. Offering up lovely notes of rose petals, raspberries and cherries, this fleshy, fuller-bodied red possesses satiny tannins and juicy acids.

4. 2017 Handwerk Zweigelt (Kamptal, Austria)
Zweigelt is an Austrian specialty and it will remind some folks of Pinot Noir with a little more body and texture. This is a great example of the grape, showcasing juicy dark cherry and raspberry fruit along with notions of pepper and smoke.

5. Surprise Wine
We’ll end with a BIGGIE from one of the legends of Priorat. Come early as we’re only opening one bottle of this one.
