Bila-Haut is the Roussillon outpost of famed Rhone producer M. Chapoutier. Like their wines in the Rhone, all of the wines bearing the Bila-Haut label are certified biodynamic and organic, and they represent some of the finest values in all of Southern France.
The rouge is a blend of primarily Syrah, with Grenache and Carignan in supporting roles. Deep, almost purple in color, this offers up loads of ripe red and blue fruits along with violet and pepper nuances. Silky and easy to drink, this offers up purity and elegance rarely encountered at this price range.
