Based in Illmitz, within the larger Burgenland region, he works with multiple varietals including Weissburgunder, Gruner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, Blaufrankisch, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc. He works with extreme attention to detail both in the vineyard and in the cellar, and also works with minimal intervention by not fining, filtering, or adding sulfur to any of his wines. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis 'Kapitel I' is an unfined, unfiltered, no sulfur added blend of Cabernet Franc and Blaufrankisch. Energetic, precise, and deeply layered with berries, herbs, leafy green, and dusty spices.
