Free Wine Tasting - Exploring Austrian Wines

Stop by the store every Saturday any time between 2 and 5 p.m. for an educational and free wine tasting. This Saturday, we’re excited to pour and talk about some of our favorite Austrian wines. With over 60% of their vineyards dedicated to white wine cultivation, this Saturday’s tasting features a trio of deliciously dry whites and an invigorating dry rosé.

We’ll start with the delightfully dry 2013 Huber Gruner Veltliner, a wine that offers up notes of fresh apple, citrus, and white pepper. Even better, it comes in a liter bottle which means you get 33% more of this perfect summer white wine. Equally delicious and completely unique, the 2013 Strauss Samling 88 is composed entirely of the Scheurebe grape. Developed in 1916, this stuff is wild boasting aromas and flavors of wild flowers, fresh peach, and tangy citrus. And last, but not least, the 2013 Tegernseerhof Zweigelt Rosé is super dry and clean with delicate notes of cherry and cranberry all offered up on a zesty and juicy palate. Stop by, taste, and save every Saturday at Table Wine.

Tasting wines are 10% off by the bottle, 15% off when you mix any six of them and 20% off if you mix twelve!
