From one of the top estates of the Maconnais, Domaine Perraud makes pristine, pure, and enlivening Chardonnays from the limestone/flint-rich soils in and around the village of La Roche Vineuse. Little or no oak is used, the farming is organic, and the wines are incredible values for serious White Burgundy lovers.
Perraud's Macon-Villages is fermented and aged in stainless steel in order to preserve purity of fruit, minerality, and that lively character we all look for in Macon whites. Wonderful notes of golden apple, pear, lemon zest, and wet rock are all present in the bouquet and palate of this well-made white wine.
