Table Wine Asheville - Wine 101 - Understanding Cabernet Sauvignon

Wine 101 – Understanding Cabernet Sauvignon – Thursday, March 14 – 7:00 to 9:00

Cabernet Sauvignon or Cab as it’s often referred to is America’s favorite red wine.  Usually big, robust, dark fruited and tannic, it can literally give your mouth a physical workout.  For this seated event, we’ll discuss the history of the grape, the places where it achieves its best results and the various styles of wines it produces.  If you listen and take notes and have fun, you’ll leave with a more comprehensive understanding of the grape.  Oh yeah, part of the experience will include tasting a 12 year old bottle of highly acclaimed Napa Cab, as seen in the picture.

The admission price gets you tastes of six wines, including some big guns (see picture above), bread, cheese and informational handouts. Space is limited, so please call us at 828.505.8588 to reserve your seat.

$20/person…..$15 for Grape Nuts

Due to the advanced planning needs, we are unable to offer refunds with less than 72 hours notice for this event.
