Next up, you’ll try one of our favorite new dry rosés, a Cinsault/Shiraz blend from South Africa……..trust us, it’s delicious! To finish up, we’ll pour you one of the best Argentine Cabernet Sauvignon values………heck, we’d call it one of the best Cab values in the world. 1. 2015 Walnut Block Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand) – For fans of New Zealand staples like Kim Crawford, give this a try! Simply put, this is textbook Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc — dry, super crisp, and brimming with tangy and tart citrus fruits and green herbs. Perfect for casual sipping or the Feast of the Seven Fishes, this one is a winner all the way.

2. 2016 Badenhorst Family Wines Secateurs Rosé (Swartland, South Africa) – Who said dry rosé was just for the warmer months? Not us! This new wine from Adi Badenhorst, one of South Africa’s most charismatic and gifted winemakers is a blend of 60% Cinsault and 40% Shiraz. Completely dry, crisp and packed with notes of white cherry, white peach, tangerine, green herb and marzipan, this is the first dry rosé of the 2016 vintage.

3. 2013 Fabre Montmayou Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva (Mendoza, Argentina) – At less than $15/bottle and rated 90 points by both James Suckling and Antonio Galloni, this is easily one of the best Cab values on the planet. Full bodied, complex, and packing loads of dark fruit, tobacco leaf, mocha, leather and tobacco, this could easily stand toe to toe with Cabs that cost 2 to 3 times the price.
