March 30 @ 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free
Best Free Wine Tasting - Table Wine - Asheville

Asheville wine lovers unite for a free wine tasting featuring a couple new dry roses and a Rhone!  It’s Asheville’s best free wine tasting, and you’re invited.  Just stop by — plenty of free parking available.

Spring is here, and it’s time to start drinking dry roses.  It’s also time to wipe the dust off your grill and fire it up with your favorite meats and veggies.  And what goes best with sunny spring days and grilled foods?  That’s easy!  Crisp and dry roses and rich and spicy reds from the Rhone Valley.  Join us this Friday as we pull the corks on a couple of our favorites!  Taste, learn, and save every Friday at Table Wine.

All of the featured tasting wines are being offered at 20% off by the bottle on tasting day!  To take advantage of the savings, all sales must be tendered by the end of business on Friday, March 30th.

Can’t make it, but want to take advantage of the savings?  Just call us at 828.505.8588 to place your order, and we can run your credit card over the phone.

1. 2017 Domaine Houchart Cotes de Provence Rose (Provence, France) – Always one of the first French roses to arrive and one of the first to sell out, this is spring sunshine in a bottle. A classic Provencal rose, it is fresh, dry, aromatic and delicious.  Get it while you can!
Special Tasting Price: $12.79/bottle

2. 2017 Domaine Lafage Miraflors Rose (Roussillon, France) – The Lafage Rose is back and it’s better than ever!  Always a best-seller, this blend of organic Grenache Gris and Mourvedre is delightful.  Flowing with aromas and flavors of fresh strawberry, white peach, and flowers, it is dry, delicious, and custom-made for warm, sunny spring days.
Special Tasting Price: $15.99/bottle

3. 2015 Domaine les Aphillanthes Cotes du Rhone “Trois Cepages” (Rhone Valley, France): Robert Parker described this organic producer as “one of  the finest estates in the Southern Rhone.”  I agree, as Daniel Boulle’s terroir-driven wines offer a perfect balance of ripe fruit and more savory spice characteristics.  His Trois Cepages is a blend of equal parts Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre.  92 points Jeb Dunnuck
Special Tasting Price: $19.99/bottle
